With the benefit of professional training in the banking field, Claude Recordon began work at the Banque de l'Indochine et de Suez in 1975, Lausanne, as a foreign exchange trader. He then moved to the Union de Banques Suisses in Winterthur where he worked in the foreign department: payments traffic, portfolio credits and foreign treasury.
